Facebook Goes Global
A few hours ago Facebook has announced the arrival of the global Facebook page, a solution that makes it possible for brands to gather all country pages in a global one, giving people a chance to choose the most interesting page.
What goes global
- The identity of the page is global: those looking for a brand will arrive directly on the page, without having to choose between several pages divided by country;
- The number of like is global (viewed in the aggregate, but with the ability for administrators to analyze the insights in a granular manner, by country);
- The value of people talking about this is global;
- The URL is unified;
- The insights are global, but analyzed by country.
What is local
- The feed is located: the conversation occurs in our country;
- The characteristic elements of the page are located:
- The cover picture;
- The profile photo;
- Milestones;
- Information about
- The app (/ tab) associated with local pages can now be differentiated by country: an app combined with the French page does not necessarily appear in conjunction with the Italian one.
